Huffman, Wallace Spencer.
A resident of Kokomo, Ind., Huffman was active with the Howard County Historical Society, and as an auto historian was active with the Pioneer Auto Club of Kokomo. Huffman originally published his INDIANA BUILT AUTOMOBILES in 1955. It has been updated three times, most recently in 1989. According to Huffman, Indiana was the national leader in auto production until Detroit took the lead in the 1930s.
