Ramage, Helen

Helen Ramage was a native of Waunfawr, Caernarfonshire. A local historian and a life vice-president of the Anglesey Antiquarian Society, she was educated at the University College of North Wales. A new edition of her book on 18th century Anglesey life, Portraits of an Island was published in 2001. She was married to the rector of Beaumaris, John Eric Ramage, and on his retirement they moved to Menai Bridge, Anglesey. She died in 1992.

Further papers relating to Helen Ramage are held at the Archives Department of the University of Wales Bangor, but are as yet, uncatalogued.
