Doughty, Margaret B.

Doughty wrote a thesis for her M.S. from Iowa State College (1941) entitled, Test methods for range ovens. I, Effect on performance of varying the food load in an oven using baking powder biscuits. The house, built ca. 1865, was bought by her father, Wilkinson Doughty (d. 1909) in 1869. He was an early hardware and drygoods merchant, town trustee, and founder of Central Michigan University.
