Dewenter's & Company (Bloomington, Ill.)
Variant namesMen's clothing store; also known as Dewenter and Co.; incorporated by Herman Dewenter and William Krietzer in 1847 and moved to West Washington St. location in Bloomington in 1870, remaining there until 1988; store held by the Dewenter family until 1946, but continued to operate under that name even after its sale for an additional forty years.
