Hide Profile

Composed of women and men from the worlds of academia, public health, business, and philanthropy, the HSPH visiting committee plays a central role in shaping the direction of the institution. Members of the visiting committee are appointed by the Harvard University Board of Overseers on the basis of their recognized knowledge and experience in a particular field of interest to the school. At its annual meetings, the committee evaluates research and educational programs and advises the dean in domains such as strategic and financial planning, academic programs, and student life. The committee also reports to the board of overseers on the state of the school and its activities.
