Patterson, Henry A., 1818-1897.
Hardware merchant of New York City; born in New York City and resided with his family in Suckasunny, New Jersey, until 1836 when he relocated to New York. Employed as clerk until 1848 when he established the hardware firm of Patterson Brothers in partnership with his brother Turner. The firm was later joined by their brother Edgar. Married to Eleanor Wright in 1844 and resided in New York City until his death in 1897.
