Hollins, Harry, 1933-1989

State Representative Harry Hollins' legislative career spanned sixteen years, 1963-1979. After retiring from the legislature, he served as head of the Louisiana Real Estate Commission and Louisiana Racing Commission. He sponsored legislation in 1970 creating the Sabine River water diversion project, and in he 1978 headed a legislative subcommittee investigating Sherman Bernard, State Insurance Commissioner. Hollins died at 1989 at age 56.
