William Wesley Welborn, Confederate soldier from South Carolina, was born 13 Feb 1824, and died in the Battle of the Wilderness, 6 May 1864.

He was a member of the South Carolina Infantry, 1st Regiment, Company F, and participated in at least two battles in East Tennessee; in battles near Petersburg, Virginia; and in the Battle of the Wilderness.
