Snow, B. G. (Benjamin G.)

Benjamin Galen Snow (1817-1880) was born in Brewer, Me., and graduated from Bowdoin College and later Bangor Theological Seminary. Snow was ordained and began missionary work for the American Baptist Council of Foreign Missions (A.B.C.F.M). He was first stationed at Kusaie, Micronesia, and then on Ebon Atoll, Marshall Islands. Snow remained in the South Pacific until 1877, with the exception of a three-year hiatus.
