Mills, Abbott P., 1889-1973.
Abbot Paige Mills was born October 23, 1889 in South Williamstown, Mass. Upon graduating from Williams College in 1911, Mills briefly played professional baseball with teams in Cleveland and New Orleans. He attended Harvard Law School, 1911-1914, and subsequently practiced law in Boston and Washington, D.C. He served Williams College as Chairman of the Alumni Fund (1935-1936), Trustee (1937-1939), President of the Society of Alumni (1939-1940), and as a member of the All-Williams Baseball Team (1940). Mills died in Washington, D.C., on June 4, 1973.
