Ursin, Betty J.
Ursin, née Nelson, served in the Navy from 1944 to 1946.
She enlisted while attending a social work graduate program at the College of St. Scholastica (Minnesota). In 1947, she married Victor Ursin, an Army Air Corps veteran, and they raised five children. She settled in Superior (Wisconsin) and donated her war service materials to the Bong Veterans Historical Center (Wisconsin).
