Anna Lilly was a member of many clubs and organizations, including the Huguenot Society, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the American Revolution, Madison County Historical Society,and the Daniel Boone Bicentennial Commission. She also served as the state director of the Jefferson Davis Historical Foundation and on the Board of Directors of the National Pioneer Monument Association. Before he became a judge, Grant Lilly was an attorney practicing in the cities of Richmond and Lexington.
