Theodore H. Miller was born in Garwood, N.J. in 1919 and enlisted in the Army at Newark, N.J. in 1942. At the time of enlistment he was unmarried and working as a manager. Miller joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colo. where he was assigned to Company I of the 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment. He participated in the Kiska Island, Alaska invasion in 1943 and in combat operations in Italy in 1945. Miller received the Bronze Star medal for his actions near Pietra Colora, Italy in March 1945. He died in 1997.
