Foy Brothers (Firm : Los Angeles, Calif.)
Foy Brothers, a Los Angeles harness and saddlery firm, was founded in 1854 by Samuel Calvert Foy (1830-1901) and his brother, John Moran Foy (>1830-1892). Their partnership continued until 1865 when John moved to San Bernardino to open his own firm. Samuel continued to direct the Los Angeles firm until the time of his death in 1901.
