Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Summit Stake.
Originally known as Chalk Creek, Coalville (Utah) formed its first Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stake in July 1877. Coalville became the center of religious, political, and commercial life in Summit County.
