William Fletcher Quillian, clergyman, educator, and college president, was born 21 December 1880, in Lithonia, Georgia, and died 26 October 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Emory University (1901), and was president of Warthan College in Wrightsville, Georgia (1902-1907), and of Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia (1920-1931; 1950-1952). Quilliam held various offices with the Methodist Church before and after unification (1931-1952).
