Missionary; attended Moody Bible Institute; married Andrew Ruch; worked in Kenya as independent missionaries where they administered a mission station, taught, and provided medical assistance (1922-ca. 1925); returned to United States due to Martha's deteriorating health. Andrew Ruch: after returning from Africa, attended Eastern Baptist Seminary in Philadelphia and pastored Church of the Sea and Land in New York City, 1926; became pastor to Temple Baptist Church, 1927-1966; died in 1966. One child, E. Louise.
