Breyer, Bernard R., 1919-
Bernard R. Breyer, a Nashville, Tenn., native born in 1919, was a student of Donald Davidson and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University in 1939. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and later became a professor of English at Auburn University.
