Reeves Pulley Company
The Reeves Pulley Company was founded in 1890 by William Reeves and his three sons, Marshall, Milton and Girnie. In addition to pulleys, the company produced speed transmissions, steam and gasoline engines, saw mills, and threshing machines. When it opened for business in Columbus, it was the largest factory in southern Indiana.
