Patton, Hal D., 1872-1934
Thomas McFatton was born in Ohio and came to Oregon in 1851. He was an attorney and minor political figure. In 1884 he was appointed U. S. consul to Japan. His son, Hal D., then age 14, who was with him in Japan.
