Forbes, William, school-master
Variant namesWilliam S. Forbes was an accomplished artist (both with pen and brush) and an instrumentalist before World War II. He studied art, painting, sculpture, engraving, etc., in Europe from 1938-1939. During World War II, he was given the rank of Technical Sergeant-Camoufleur, Headquarters (HQ), Company C, 602nd Engineer Camouflage Battalion and served in the European Theater of Operations (ETO).
