Black Autonomy Network Community Organization.
Political and social justice group in Benton Harbor, Mich., founded 2003 by Rev. Edward Pinkney. A 2005 recall election of a Benton Harbor city commissioner organized by Rev. Pinkney led to Pinkney's conviction on charges of election fraud, a conviction Pinkney's supporters saw as politically motivated.
