Markham, Harold Cole, 1923-1991
Harold Cole Markham (1923-1992) was Durham, N.C. resident who served as an X-ray technician with the U.S. 101st Airborne Division during World War II. While a student in Durham, N.C., and during his World War II tour of duty in the United States and Europe, he was a collector of World War II photographs, post cards, and other collector's cards.
Markham was the adopted son of Numa Ralph Markham (1883-1966) and Bertha Mary Cole Markham (1888-1972).
