Lincoln, James Helme, b. 1917
Born August 26, 1916 in Harbor Beach, Michigan. James H. Lincoln attended Harbor Beach High School and the University of Michigan and received an L.L.B. from the Detroit College of Law in 1944. Judge Lincoln was elected to the Detroit City Council in 1954 and 1957 serving until 1960. Judge Lincoln served as Wayne County Juvenile Court Judge from 1960 through November 14, 1977. On June 21, 1941 James H. Lincoln married Mary Frances Kimmerling. The Lincolns had four children: Two daughters, Janet and Linda and two sons, David and Edward.
