Son of Daniel J. and Isabella (Smith) Guerin, born in Port Huron, Mich., Mar. 30,1876; came to Detroit in 1896; married Edna Magill, Sept. 5, 1903; graduated from Detroit College of Law; while member of Michigan Naval Brigade was a bodyguard for Theodore Roosevelt; served on the U.S.S.
