Physician; native of Newberry County, S.C.; graduate of the Medical College of the State of South Carolina, Charleston, 1932; completed a dissertation in 1945 from University of Michigan titled, "The Relationship of the Pharmacology of the Sympathomimetic Amines to Potassium."
