He married Gladys Cardon 15 October 1932 in Kirtland, San Juan, New Mexico. He spent his life as a trader on Indian reservations in Arizona and New Mexico. Vernon died 17 April 1983 in Monticello, San Juan, Utah.
Gladys Cardon Jack was born 23 Jan 1913 in Jaynes, Pima, Arizona to Joseph Elmer Cardon and Lucinda Hurst. She died 4 July 2005.

Lynn Lyman was born December 28, 1905 in Bluff, San Juan, Utah, to Walter Clisbee and Elizabeth Finlinson Lyman. He married Hazel Irene Bowen on January 21, 1928. Lynn died April 24, 1992 in Blanding, San Juan, Utah.
Hazel Irene Bowen Lyman was born March 6, 1909 in Cortez, Montezuma, Colorado to Cordon Corsanda and Gussie Leona Honaker Bowen. They had one son and two daughters. Hazel died December 26, 2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah and was buried in Blanding.
