Moore, James C. (James Cleveland), 1888-1962
Variant namesWood served as school librarian of Shepherd Public Schools, 1952-1968. Moore, born Oct. 1881 in Salt River (Mich.), later called Shepherd, graduated from the local high school in 1898, the first graduation class with a graduation program. He helped start and fund Moore Memorial Library in Shepherd. Having suffered a stroke, he was hospitalized in 1961.
