L'abbé François-Marie La Bintinaye and his brother Agathon Agathon-Marie-René de La Bintinaye emigrated from France to England in 1791. Both were friends of Edmund Burke. L'abbé de la Bintanaye left England in 1802 to join his uncle, the archbishop of Aix.
