Anderson, John Gary, 1861-1937
Founder of the Rock Hill Buggy Company, in York County, S.C., which grew to become the highly successful Anderson Motor Company, organized in 1915; roughly 6,500 Anderson touring cars were built, 1918 to 1926, before the company shut its doors.
