Elrod, J. McRee, 1932-
Variant namesJ. McRee Elrod moved to Vancouver in 1967 and was Head of the University of British Columbia's Library Cataloguing Division until 1978. Also a minister-at-large, Elrod participated in the North Shore Unitarian Church Social Action Committee. In this capacity he placed advertisements in prominent American periodicals offering assistance and information to any young men and women dislocated as a result of the selective service system during the time of the Vietnam war.
