Charles Little Dunham (1906-1975) was Director of the Division of Biology and Medicine for the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, and also served as Chairman of the Division of Medical Sciences, at the National Academy of Sciences. Dunham focused on establishing ecological laboratories studying the effect of ecology on atomic energy and cultivating the contributions of nuclear medicine to the treatment of disease.
