Acree, Walter U. (Walter Upson), b. 1860.
Walter Upson Acree of Newton, Dale Co., Ala. was a farmer and dealer in real estate. He also served as an alderman of Newton, county superintendent of education for Chilton Co. (1885-1887), and was elected State Senator in 1900.
