Pinal County (Ariz.)
Formed in 1875 from Maricopa and Pima Counties, the county seat is at Florence, Ariz. The Vekol Mine, located on the Tohono O'odham reservation south of Casa Grande, was operated from 1885 to 1916 by John D. Walker and Peter R. Brady.
