Hoffman, Roy, 1869-
Variant namesRoy Hoffman (b. June 13, 1869, Kansas), Major General in the U. S. Army, a college graduate and member of the Oklahoma Bar, was a district judge, 10th District, and U.S. Attorney for Oklahoma. He enlisted for duty in the Spanish-American War, served during the Mexican Border action, organized and commanded the 93rd Division and took it to France in February 1918. He retired as a major general commanding the 45th Division, National Guard in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Oklahoma.
