Blaisdell family.

Frank W. Blaisdell (ca. 1845-1931) was born in Waterboro, Maine and later lived in Goodwin's Mills, South Waterboro and Alfred, Maine. He was a farmer and appears to have had extensive financial and legal dealings. He was an active member of the South Waterboro Baptist Church and of the Odd Fellows Enterprise Lodge No. 36 in Waterboro. In 1871 Blaisdell married Lucy Brown Peirce and they had two children: Mary Blaisdell, born in 1878, and Elizabeth Blaisdell, born in 1882.

Mary Blaisdell graduated from Colby College in 1901 and married Rev. Arthur Belknap in 1902. They had four children: Elizabeth Peirce Belknap, Katherine Blaisdell Belknap, Janet Hosmer Belknap and Mary Constance Belknap.

Elizabeth Peirce Blaisdell graduated from Colby College in 1905 and taught at Shaw University in Raleigh, N.C. She married Rev. Edwin B. Dolan in 1937 or 1938 and they lived in Alfred, Maine and Melrose, Mass. She died in 1956.
