Glaser, Kurt, 1914-....
Variant namesKurt Glaser (1914-1993) was an employee of the U. S. Government and a professor of political science. After earning a PhD from Harvard in 1941, he spent 12 years in Washington D. C. working for the Social Security Board and the Department of Agriculture. From 1946-1950, Glaser worked for the Military Government in Germany and as a government affairs officer with the U. S. High Command. After two years as a journalist in Munich, Glaser returned to the United States and pursued a career in academia. He was a professor at Southern Illinois from 1959-1983 and at Tankang University in Taiwan from 1983-1989.
