Born in Boston, Mass., 1894. Graduated from University of Massachusetts of Amherst, 1918. Served in U.S. Army, 1917-1918. Moved to Charlotte in 1922 and organized Central Lumber Company, serving as president 1922-1958. Died in 1967.
