Kalman, Tibor
Tibor Kalman (1949-1999) was a graphic designer based in New York and the founder of the design firm M& Co. He was known for his highly innovative designs and for his espousal of progressive social causes. As a member of the industrial design community, he encouraged designers to think about how they contribute to waste and to the promotion of products that harm the environment. He was also editor-in-chief of Colors Magazine, published by the Benetton clothing company.
