Dockray, William P., 1815-1904.
William P. Dockray, Acting Master in the USN during the first two years of the Civil War, 1861-1863, was born in 1815. He served with the Merchant Marine prior to the Civil War, when he served with the Gulf Blockading Squadron. He retired in Lawrence, KS, where he lived until his death.
