Gamboa, Francisco Javier de 1717-1794
Variant namesFrancisco de Gamboa was a native Mexican who was lauded as the foremost Mexican lawyer of his time, as well as an expert on mining and geology. He is credited with creating the basis of mining law for New Spain.
