Gödel, Kurt
Variant namesBorn in Brunn, Moravia, Gödel studied and taught at the University of Vienna in the 1930s, and immigrated to the United States in 1940, where he became a permanent member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton as an eminent mathematical logician.
