Carl Bakal (1918-2004) was an American journalist, photographer, and free-lance writer. He was an editor for the New York Mirror and Coronet magazine and published frequently in McCall's and Good Housekeeping. He was the author of a book, "The Right to Bear Arms", and of many articles supporting gun control. He also investigated unregulated charitable organizations.
