Donald Grant Trayser, born in Wisconsin in 1902, was a newspaper journalist, worked as Cape Cod correspondent for the New Bedford Standard Times and Boston Globe. Editor of the Barnstable Patriot and collector of Cape Cod books and manuscripts. Authored "Barnstable: Three Centuries of a Cape Cod Town" for the town tercentenary in 1939. Married Annabel Jerauld in 1930. Resided in Barnstable until his death in 1955. Annabel Trayser was born in 1900 and worked for the Barnstable court system. With her husband, ran their Bow Lane residence as a guest house. She died in 1993.
