Cogswell Brothers General Store.

Charles and Arthur Cogswell bought out the E. E. Ellis store in Etna, New York when Ellis went bankrupt in 1891, running the store thereafter as the Cogswell Brothers General Store. In 1928, agents of Henry Ford acquired old stock from the Etna store to help furnish the general store which Ford relocated to Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan from Waterford, Michigan. The materials in this collection were part of that acquisition.
