Raymond W. Brink was for many years chairman of the University of Minnesota Dept. of Mathematics. During the years 1943-1944, he also was Academic Director of the Pre-Meteorological Program conducted by the Army Air Force at the University of Minnesota (U.S. Army Air Forces Technical Training Command, Training Detachment #53). The program was discontinued in 1944.
