Norton, S.R., Union soldier.
Union soldier from Adrian, Michigan. Norton was an orderly sergeant in the 18th Michigan Infantry Regiment, Company B until late October 1864, when he was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant and assigned to Company G of the same regiment.
