Knight, John Langford.

John Langford Knight took a principal role in the design and establishment of the Mulwala Explosives Factory and was its Assistant Manager from 1942 until after World War II, when he bacame Assistant to the Department of Supply's Consultant on Explosives, Mr A. E. Leighton. Explosives and Chemical Engineering Representative of the Department of Supply in London, 1949; Assistant Manager of the Explosives Factory, Marybyrnong, 1951-54; Manager of the Albion Explosives Factory, 1954-56; Deputy Controller of Munitions, Department of Supply 1958-76. After retirement Knight undertook research on the history of explosives manufacture in Australia.
