Born July 24, 1856 to William H. and Emma Taylor Wright in Philadelphia, Pa.; crossed the plains and settled in Richmond, Cache County, Utah in 1860; moved to Ogden, Utah in 1873; businessman; held various municipal and LDS Church positions; served 2 church missions in New Zealand, as missionary and mission president; died May 20, 1928 in Ogden.
