McPherson, John G.
Variant namesCaptain of the barque "Garmouth" which made many voyages around the world. A stay in Fremantle, Western Australia, in November 1876 resulted in a court case over a claim for fifteen pounds commission for George Thompson. McPherson was lost at sea on 1 November 1879.
